Five Footwear Styles To Look Out For This Week

A stark difference to weekends of the past, the current COVID-19 situation has seen us all in lockdown, eager to get outside and enjoy the Spring. Thankfully - at the time of writing - the weather has decided to come out and we have been able to pass the time outside in the garden or during our hour activity outside - social distancing measures adhered to of course.

Usually at this time of the year we would send our Spring/Summer look book for inspiration, however due to the lockdown sadly we haven’t been able to. We thought a lot of you may be in the same situation as us, wanting to start wearing your Summer clothes but not sure what…As such, we have put together a list of five footwear styles to look out for over the next week based upon insights from our online store and our social media...We hope you enjoy the read.

Originally intended for those jetting off to sunnier climates, we have seen a sharp rise in customers purchasing of our Kingston Sliders as the style has now transformed into a loungewear hybrid. A lot of customers have been sending their #WalkWednesday pictures working from home, pairing the sliders with white sports socks which look great. We have also seen some great garden images with our Kingston Trim Sliders being paired with shorts and t-shirt.

It’s usually about this time every year we start to see an increase in demand for our West Tassel Loafers…and this year is no different. It feels like a natural progression as the sun starts to come out for many of us to set aside the winter shoes, and start wearing summer loafers. As many of us are working from home, a top quote going around is “dress smart, work smart” and this still applies even when working from home. As such these brogues are the perfect balance of smart casual to get you in a productive mood to WFH.
